Diagnostic Imaging
At Black River Memorial Hospital, we are proud to offer many
advanced diagnostic imaging tests and equipment to help our medical providers
diagnose illnesses and injuries in an accurate and timely fashion.
All diagnostic radiologic studies are interpreted by
radiologists (cardiologists interpret echocardiology) who work closely with
physicians to assure the most accurate diagnosis of each patient's medical
condition.
This department also has the capability of transmitting
X-ray films by telephone with teleradiology for urgent interpretations by
radiologists 24 hours a day. MRI and CT exams are directly captured from
scanners and sent to specialists for interpretation while patients are being
scanned.
