Black River Memorial Hospital Announces the Addition of a New Department for VolunteersAs of August 1, 2011, the Black River Memorial Hospital will have a new Volunteer Services Department for over 200 volunteers. Holly Winn, VP of Human Resources and Ancillary Services, said, “We are so fortunate to be a part of a community that believes in volunteerism. Our patients receive exceptional care not only from our staff, but from our volunteers as well.”
Cindy Clark, formerly the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for BRMH for the last five years, will manage the new Volunteer Services Department. Volunteers for the Partners of Black River Memorial Hospital, Hospice, Lifeline and transportation will now find their home in this new department. Clark said, “Reorganization of our departments will give our volunteers support and recognition equal to their contribution to the Black River Memorial Hospital organization.”
Clark has a Human Resources degree, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification as well as a Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA).
