Dr. Nick Kitowski, General Surgeon, Joins Staff at Krohn Clinic and Black River Memorial Hospital  

Black River Falls, Wisconsin—September 2, 2011— Dr. Nick Kitowski has joined the team of physicians of Krohn Clinic and Black River Memorial Hospital as a general surgeon. He is originally from Black River Falls and is the son of Jerry and Lori Kitowski.

After graduating from Black River Falls High School, Dr. Nick Kitowski went onto complete is degree in Kinesiology from UW-Madison. He then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He completed his residency in general surgery at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse.

Dr. Nick Kitowski’s special interests in medicine are in rural surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and medical missions. He says he wanted to work as a rural surgeon because it presented the opportunity to serve a broader spectrum of needs while fostering deeper patient relationships.

In his free time, Dr. Nick Kitowski enjoys running, biking, golfing, skiing, snowshoeing, and playing basketball and tennis. He and his wife, Bobbi, and their daughter Audrey live in Black River Falls.
