• Paying Your Bill

As a healthcare organization dedicated to serving our communities, Black River Memorial Hospital will never refuse emergency care to anyone.  However, patients are responsible for their hospital billings. If you find that you need financial assistance with your hospital bill, it is important that you call us as soon as possible to discuss your situation and the financial assistance available to you.   Our Patient Financial Counselor is available to assist patients with billing information and concerns. For an appointment or information, please call 715-284-1368 or e-mail londres@brmh.net

  • Black River Memorial Hospital serves everyone who comes to us in need of care. We have specific programs in place to assist patients with their hospital bills, whether they are Private Pay patients or have a balance due after insurance payment.

If you don’t have health insurance, there are several things we can do to help you.  We can give you information on who is eligible and how to apply for BadgerCare+ and other public programs.  We also offer payment plans, which must be approved by our Patient Financial Counselor.

If you are not eligible for a public program or have a balance due after insurance payment, you may qualify for our Community Care Program.  There is an application process for this program and our Patient Financial Counselor can help you apply.  We do have interpreters available if language assistance is needed.
