X-ray
An x-ray is one of the oldest and most used medical tests to help your medical provider diagnose your illness or injury.
This non-invasive test produces images of the inside of the body using a small dose of ionizing radiation.
Although it’s commonly used to determine whether a bone is broken or dislocated, it can also be used to detect abnormal growths and to find infections.
When you have an x-ray, you will likely be asked to wear a hospital gown and to take off your jewelry. The test should only take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
