ATTENTION ATHLETIC TRAINERS  

Black RiverMemorialHospital's Rehabilitation Department is dedicated to provision of education and services for area athletes to prevent, manage, and rehabilitate injuries while maximizing their performance. It is an exciting time for Black River Memorial Hospital as we continue to expand and grow our Sports Medicine Program.   

We are in pursuit of a dedicated Athletic Trainer who has a passion for their work and a desire for professional growth to support our expanding program.  The position is full-time, 70-80 hours per pay period and includes the hospital's generous benefit package.  The primary responsibilities of the Athletic Trainer are to provide coverage for athlete injury management, education to athletes, coaches, parents and the general public on injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and wellness.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program
  • Two (2) years prior experience as an Athletic Trainer required
  • Current Wisconsin license as an Athletic Trainer
  • Valid Wisconsin Drivers' License and proof of insurance

HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR

Black River Memorial Hospital has an opening for a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) in our Med/Surg Unit.  The position is part-time, 56 hours per pay period, night shift hours with rotating weekends and holidays.  The HUC performs and coordinates clerical activities on the unit to promote patient focused care.  Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma/GED with successful clinical experience and/or certificate from a technical college.  Proficient typing and computer skills are required.  Interested candidates may apply online at www.brmh.net or obtain an application by calling Human Resources at 715-284-1302.  Application deadline is August 4, 2014.  EOE.

PARAMEDICS  

Black River Memorial Hospital has immediate openings in our Emergency Department for experienced Paramedics.  The positions are full-time, 72 hours per pay period, 12 hour shifts, 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.  This includes every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday.

  •  3 - 5 years prior Emergency Medical Services experience

PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN

Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a part-time Patient Care Technician to work harmoniously with our highly motivated nursing staff in our Med/Surg Unit.  

The position available is part-time, 60 hours per pay period and benefited.  Afternoon and night shift hours which includes shift differential, rotating weekends and holidays. 

Technicians provide supportive services, direct and indirect patient care, organize and coordinate efficient delivery of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.  Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and current certification as a Nursing Assistant.
