NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT

Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, located in the western part of the state along I-94 between La Crosse and Eau Claire in beautiful God's country, has an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant. This is a part-time, non-benefited position including every other weekend and every third holiday, plus some additional fill-in hours. The normal hours of work are 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays and 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. weekdays. The provider will evaluate and treat patients of all ages with minor medical, surgical and emergency conditions as well as a wide range of patient types including, emergency, urgent care, in-patient, occupational, employees and Department of Corrections.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Current DEA license or Nurse Practitioner Prescribing License.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, ATLS or CALS within 2 years of hire
Minimum of three years clinical experience required. Urgent Care, Emergency and Primary Care Experience preferred.

NUTRITION SERVICES ASSISTANT

Black River Memorial Hospital has an opening for a part-time, 56 hours per pay period, fully benefited, Nutrition Services Assistant. Hours of work will be varying day shift hours and include rotating weekends and holidays. Duties include assisting in baking, preparation, cooking and serving of food and assembling patient trays. EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT REGISTERED NURSES

Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening in our Emergency Department for a Registered Nurse. The position is part-time, fully benefited, 56 hours per pay period which includes every third weekend and every third holiday. Hours of work are 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays and may include other varying shifts. Also included is an every other Monday day shift in our Pain Clinic.

Another Registered Nurse position is also available in our Emergency Department. This position is part-time, non-benefited, every fourth weekend and every fourth holiday with either a 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. or 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shift.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or Associates Degree in Nursing
Current Wisconsin RN License
BLS within 6 months, ACLS within 1 year and NRP Certification within 2 years
Cardiac arrhythmia certification within 6 months to 1 year

CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC

Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening in our Emergency Department for an experienced Critical Care Paramedic. The position is part-time, 48 hours per pay period, fully benefited with 12-hour shifts that will include every 3^rd weekend and every 3^rd holiday, 5:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

OPERATING ROOM/CENTRAL SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Operating Room/Central Supply Technician to assist with the care of patients in the operating room. This individual will perform as central supply and scrub technician, assist with the role of circulator for surgery procedures and provide aspects of care as delegated by the RN.

The position is 16 hours per pay period, non-benefited, day shift hours. Qualified applicants must have completed an approved course for Operating Room/Central Supply Technician. Applicants must be knowledgeable in current operating room/central supply principles and practices and complete BLS certification within 6 months of employment..
