Staff Openings 

RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONER  

Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team and travel with us on our journey to "Excellence Always".  The position is part-time, 48-60 hours per pay period, 12 hour shifts, 6 pm - 6 am, including weekend and holiday rotation.  Position includes the Hospital's generous benefit package.

SOCIAL WORKER  

A part-time Social Worker position is now available at Black River Memorial Hospital.  This position is 40 hours per pay period with additional rotating weekend and night call.  The position includes the Hospital's generous benefit package.    

Duties include helping to meet the social, economic and emotional needs of patients and their families during hospitalization and provide for appropriate planning to ensure these needs are adequately met after discharge.  Duties are largely performed in the Med/Surg Unit, but also respond to OB and Emergency Departments.    

Qualifications include: 

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in social work or related field
  • 1-2 years related experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Current social work certification from the State of Wisconsin

Black River Memorial Hospital has immediate openings for part-time Registered Nurses in our Medical Surgical Department.  The positions available are 56-64 hours per pay period, pm and night shifts, 8 or 12 hour shifts with every 4th weekend on-call.  Both positions include the hospital's generous benefit package.

The positions available include a 64 hour per pay period, part-time, benefited position with hours of work from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  Also available is a part-time, non-benefited position, every 3rd weekend and holiday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  We offer a very competitive salary which includes shift premium pay.

SLEEP LAB TECHNOLOGIST

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR     

Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team and share in our journey of "Excellence Always."   

This position coordinates, plans, develops and monitors activities in business development including outlining strategic plans for development of relationships with area businesses. Responsibilities include developing and implementing hospital sponsored employer health events and developing criteria to identify new business opportunities that have a high probability of success in expanding and strengthening our community hospital.    

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or three (3) plus years of experience in Marketing or Business Development.  Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills, be experienced in sales and marketing and demonstrate excellent public speaking and event coordination skills.   

The position is full-time, 80 hours per pay period. COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR

Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a Community Relations Coordinator to join our growing Marketing & Business Development Department as we strive for "Excellence Always."

The qualified candidate will represent Black River Memorial Hospital to the community at large through development and maintenance of relationships with key community organizations, agencies and community partners.  Duties include designing and implementing community health needs assessments, coordinating community benefits reporting and coordinating health fairs, education and community events.

Educational requirements include an Associate's Degree in public relations or equivalent education and training with one (1) year experience in a responsible position in community relations.  A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational communication skills are also required.

HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR  

Black River Memorial Hospital has an opening for a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) in our Med/Surg Department.  The position is full-time, 72 hours per pay period, night shift hours.  The HUC performs and coordinates clerical activities on the unit to promote patient focused care.
