PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN/HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR

Med Surg Department

Don't miss this opportunity to join a team of compassionate caregivers.  Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a part-time Patient Care Technician/Health Unit Coordinatorto work harmoniously with our highly motivated nursing staff. 

Essential Duties:

  • Provides patient care following nursing/ medical orders and coordinates clerical activities on the unit to promote patient focused care.
  • Recognizes changes in signs and symptoms and promptly reports patient's condition to the RN.
  • Effectively and accurately communicates pertinent information to various departments and/or personnel.
  • Accurately documents and transcribes orders into the computer according to established standards.

The position is part-time, 56 hours per pay period, afternoon and night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays and includes the Hospital's generous benefit package.  This position requires a high school diploma or GED along with a current Certified Nursing Assistant license.

MARKETING SPECIALIST

 

Consider joining our team dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist.  The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week and benefits eligible. 

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for the implementation of marketing tactics that sustain and strengthen marketing strategies
  • Supports BRMH's marketing strategy, brand development, social media and internet strategy through implementation of tactical initiatives.
  • Designs, edits, and proofreads marketing materials, and enhance internal and external communication materials while maintaining consistently with branding guidelines.
  • Assists with facilitating requests from the public for educational services and community tours, health fairs, business development events, etc.

Qualified candidates must have an Associate or Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field and three to five years experience.  Advanced knowledge or working experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Social Media, Adobe Suite, and Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing is required.  We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits.

RESOURCE NURSE-MED/SURG UNIT

Med Surg Department

Consider joining our compassionate care team at Black River Memorial Hospital where we have immediate opening for a part-time Resource Nurse in our Medical Surgical Department.  Hours of work are pm and night shifts, every third weekend, 56 hours per pay period, benefited.

The Resource Nurse provides oversight and leadership among the ER, Med/Surg and OB departments.  The Resource Nurse manages available nursing resources and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to provide quality, cost effective patient care.

Qualifications:

  •   Bachelor of Science, Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma RN.  BSN preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS required. PALS and NRP strongly preferred or must be completed within the first three months of hire/transfer.  ATCN and ALSO within the first year.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of patient care experience.
  • Current licensed Wisconsin RN.
