STAFF OPENINGS

 

NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT

Black RiverMemorialHospital in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, located in the western part of the state along I-94 between La Crosse and Eau Claire in beautiful God's country, has an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.  This is a part-time, non-benefited position including every fourth weekend and every fourth holiday.  The hours of work are 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. The provider will evaluate and treat patients of all ages with minor medical, surgical and emergency conditions as well as a wide range of patient types including, emergency, urgent care, occupational, employees and Department of Corrections.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner educational program
  • Current, valid, unrestricted license from the State of Wisconsin; current board certification from NCCPA for PA or current board certification from ANCC, ANA, or AANP for NP must be achieved within 18 months of hire; and current unrestricted DEA
  • Certifications:  BLS required; CALS with trauma module certification by itself or all three of the following certifications: ATLS, PALS, & ACLS must be provided within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience required.  Urgent Care, Emergency, and Primary Care Experience preferred.

OBSTETRICS DEPARTMENT NURSE DIRECTOR

Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for an Obstetrics Department Nurse Director.  The Obstetrics Department Director, oversees and leads all aspects of the department and plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and evaluates nursing unit resources to provide cost-effective, patient-focused care. The normal hours of work are days, Monday through Friday.  This is an exempt, full-time, benefits-eligible position.  

 Qualifications include:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor Degree will be required within five years of employment
  • Two years of OB clinical experience required
  • Current Wisconsin RN License
  • BLS required
  • ACLS and NRP within 1-year
  • Supervisory and leadership experience

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Senior Leader team, the CFO is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs.  Promotes a strong belief in BRMH's Mission.  Demonstrates behavior consistent with BRMH's core values:  Excellence, Progressive, Integrity, Compassion and Collaboration.  Promotes the effective management of BRMH's resources, meeting benchmarks, short and long term goals. The CFO oversees the finance, revenue cycle, environmental and purchasing departments and works collaboratively with all departments in the hospital.

 Our candidate will possess:

  • Master's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year college or university. If a Bachelor's degree, will need to complete an MBA or MHA within 5 years.
  • A minimum of 7-years progressive, related experience and leadership/management responsibilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare financial management, third-party reimbursement, information systems, and generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of hospital and clinical patient care principles and practices.
  • Knowledgeable in relevant state and federal regulations and healthcare policies and practices.
  • Knowledgeable in risk management policies, procedures and practices.
  • Knowledgeable in contemporary supervisory, management and administrative principles and practices.
  • Excellent computer skills in a variety of software programs across a variety of applications.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST
