ANCILLARY SERVICES ASSISTANT

We have an immediate opening for an Ancillary Services Assistant.  The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 80 hours per pay period and benefits eligible.  Duties include performing secretarial duties for multiple ancillary departments and members of upper management which will include preparing various types of documents using complex functions of a variety of computer applications.  Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED along with one-three years of secretarial experience or training.  Advanced knowledge or working experience using Microsoft Office Suite is required.  We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits.  Qualified candidates may obtain an application by calling 715-284-1302, stopping by the Hospital or visiting our website.  Application deadline is July 28, 2008.  EOE/AAE.

HOMECARE PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Homecare Patient Care Coordinator who is a team-focused, self starter who would enjoy the challenge of assisting the Homecare  Manager.  Qualified candidate should be a licensed RN in the State of WI with a minimum of 2 years RN experience.  Experience in Home Care billing and coding is preferred and a WI driver’s license, proof of insurability and reliable transportation is required.  Position is full-time, 80 hours per pay period and benefited.  We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits that include health, dental, life and disability insurance; 401K retirement plan; and personal leave time. NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN’S ASSISTANT

We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant. This is a non-exempt, full-time, benefits eligible position.  The normal hours of work are evenings, Monday through Friday.  The provider will evaluate and treat patients of all ages with minor medical, surgical and emergency conditions in the Urgent Care, Specialty Outreach and Emergency Departments of the Hospital under the supervision of the Emergency Department Physician.

Qualifications:  

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current DEA license or Nurse Practitioner Prescribing License.
  • Certifications: BLS required;  ACLS, NRP, ATLS or CALS within 2 years of hire
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience required. Urgent Care, Emergency and Primary Care Experience preferred.

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND VOLUNTEER SERVICES ASSISTANT

We have an immediate opening for a Public Relations and Volunteer Services Assistant.  The position is full-time, and is benefits eligible.  Hours of work are 8-4:30, Monday – Friday.  Duties include database management and providing clerical assistance to the Public Relations/Volunteer Services Department.  A high school diploma or GED are required.  Qualified candidates must have advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing skills.  A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are also required. REGISTERED NURSE

Black River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team. The position is part-time, 40 hours per pay period and benefited. Qualified candidates must be a RRT or CRT with a current Wisconsin RCP license.  BLS is required at time of hire along with ACLS certification and cardiac arrhythmia certification within one year of hire.   We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits that include health, dental, life and disability insurance; 401K retirement plan; and personal leave time.
