State-of-the-Art Surgical Services Unit
Our new state-of-the-art Surgical Services Unit will open in May 2007 and will have three operating rooms, a procedure room, an outpatient surgery area, and support services.
Skilled Surgical Professionals
The Surgical Services team includes dedicated and skilled professionals: surgeons, registered nurses, and technicians all of whom specialize in pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative care.
Our surgical specialists perform procedures covering a range of health-care specialties and offer many procedures on an inpatient or outpatient basis.

Individual Anesthesia Consultations
Certified registered nurse anesthetists administer the anesthetic required for surgery. Prior to surgery, the anesthetist meets with patients to determine the best anesthetic, to explain how the various anesthetics work, and to answer any questions the patient has.
During the surgical procedure, the anesthetist stays with the patient monitoring every important function, monitoring the patient, and modifying the anesthetic, if needed, to ensure maximum safety and comfort.
