Visitor Information
Black River Memorial Hospital supports a family-friendly environment and encourages visits by patients' family members and friends. We ask that all visitors be considerate of our patients and staff and request that children under the age of 12 be supervised by an adult.
If visiting patients in the Cardiac Monitored Care Unit, please check in at the Medical-Surgical nurses' station.
Visitor Entrance
Visitors should use the first floor, main lobby entrance.
Parking
Free parking is available in the hospital parking lot. Parking spaces for people with disabilities are located near the entrances.
Gift Shop
The Gift Shop is staffed by volunteers and is located in the hospital lobby. It is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cafeteria
Visitors may purchase meals in the hospital cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Coffee is available in the hospital cafeteria at any time.
Vending Machines
Vending machines are available 24 hours a day and are located in the first floor cafeteria.
Telephone Access
A public telephone is located on the first floor near the elevators.
Restrooms
Public restrooms are located throughout the hospital and are clearly marked.
Smoking/Tobacco
Smoking and other use of tobacco products is prohibited in the hospital and on the hospital grounds.
