On October 19, 2020, Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH), in partnership with Jackson County Public Health, moved their COVID-19 test site from the BRMH facility to the Little Red Shed located in the parking area at Jackson County Department of Health and Human Services, 421 County Road R, Black River Falls. The move provides better accessibility for the public and consolidates resources such as inventory and staff.
BRMH is currently offering to test any individuals who are symptomatic or have been exposed to a known positive. Anyone experiencing symptoms or have been instructed by a local public health department to be tested, should call their primary care provider or, the BRMH COVID-19 screening line at 715-284-3906 to schedule an appointment.
BRMH will be conducting scheduled testing at the Little Red Shed every weekday except for most Wednesdays when the National Guard will be conducting their drive-up testing.
The cafeteria is closed to the public.
Those providing care, receiving care, or have been approved as a visitor in the hospital are allowed to use the cafeteria as long as they do not have any COVID-19 symptoms.
B-Home is open to the public but all individuals are screened upon entering the facility.
The 8th Street building is open to asymptomatic individuals requiring assistance from the 8th Street staff. All individuals will be screened upon entering the building and will follow the same screening as any other hospital visitor.
