The Annual Babysitting Clinic was held on April 21, at Black River Memorial Hospital. This one-day clinic teaches students to be responsible, creative and safety conscious while babysitting. The sessions included topics related to feeding and dressing babies, fire safety, and legal responsibilities. In addition students learned about healthy eating choices and hands-only CPR. First aid and helping a choking victim were also part of the training. Students must be in sixth grade or older to participate. Forty-nine students completed the five-hour class. This event is sponsored by the Partners of Black River Memorial Hospital.
