The babysitting clinic is open to any student who has completed the 6th grade. This one-day clinic teaches students to be responsible, creative and safety conscious while babysitting. Topics include: Guidelines for Sitters; Feeding; Dressing; Fire Safety; Legal Responsibilities; First Aid; Responding to Emergencies; and Rescue Breathing and Choking Interventions.
At the end of the clinic, students will attend a Q&A session with a panel of parents who will discuss experiences with babysitters. Students will be given a test, awarded a certificate of course completion and have a group picture taken.
