Black River Health Obstetrics Nurse Receives National Recognition
Congratulations to Dana Hanson, Registered Nurse, for Receiving the Prestigious DAISY Award
Black River Health (BRH) is proud to announce that Dana Hanson, Registered Nurse and dedicated member of the BRH Obstetrics (OB) team, has been honored with the esteemed DAISY Award. This recognition highlights Dana’s exceptional commitment to compassionate patient care and clinical excellence.
The DAISY Award, established by the Daisy Foundation, was created in honor of J. Patrick Barnes, whose family wanted to honor the exceptional nurses who cared for him during his battle with an autoimmune disease. Today, the award is presented nationwide to nurses who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of their patients, embodying the values of care, compassion, and professionalism.
“We are beyond thrilled to see Dana receive this well-deserved recognition,” said Julia Smith, Vice President of Patient Care Services of Black River Health. “The DAISY Award is an important reminder of the incredible impact nurses have on patient care, and Dana’s commitment to excellence serves as an inspiration to all of us.”
Dana's exemplary work continues to inspire her colleagues and the patients she serves, making her an invaluable asset to our team. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved recognition.
