Regional Representative for Senator Tammy Baldwin Visits Black River Memorial Hospital
BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. May 3, 2024 - Gregg Wavrunek, a Regional Representative for Senator Tammy Baldwin, recently visited Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH) to discuss how legislation is impacting the healthcare industry. This event’s goal was to provide Senator Baldwin with a deeper understanding of the changing landscape of rural healthcare and the role BRMH plays in serving its communities.
In addition to legislative matters, the discussion also highlighted technology trends in healthcare. In particular, the role Telehealth can play in addressing gaps in behavioral health needs in rural Wisconsin.
BRMH had the opportunity to showcase its programs and initiatives aimed at improving healthcare outcomes for its communities. From innovative treatment approaches to community outreach programs, BRMH demonstrated its dedication to providing compassionate care close to home.

Black River Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in west-central Wisconsin offering the best in patient care since 1968.
