How much will my care cost?

Every patient and their needs are different. The health of the patient and insurance coverage will impact how much the patient will have to pay for their care out of pocket.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Guideline:

In 2018, CMS announced updated guidelines for hospitals to comply with the Transparency Requirement of the Affordable Care Act. Effective January 1, 2019:
Hospitals, including critical access hospitals, must make available a list of their current standard charges to the public:

  • Via the internet
  • In a machine-readable format
  • Must update this information at least annually, or more often as appropriate

For information that would help you estimate the cost of your care or the amount you might owe for your care, please contact our patient financial advocates at 715-284-1368 or 715-284-3691.
