The Black River Healthcare Clinic within the Black River Memorial Hospital, opened its doors on July 13, 2020. BRMH’s new clinic integrates primary care with behavioral health for a complete, whole-person approach to your health.
Based on the 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment, Behavioral Health was one of the top needs identified in Jackson County. To answer that need, the new clinic offers behavioral health services for adults and children as young as five years old.
For mental health services, the Black River Healthcare Clinic will not turn anyone away regardless of insurance and a patient’s ability to pay. BRMH offers financial assistance and customizable payment plans for those who need it to ensure every member of our community receives the care they need.
Danielle Jacobs, Black River Healthcare Clinic, behavioral health therapist, states, “The stress and anxiety brought out by the world we currently live in can unnerve even the strongest people. We understand how anxiety, depression, and fear can be overwhelming and we’re here to help.” Jacobs continued, “The Clinic offers Behavioral Health services and patients can be seen by family medicine providers for their primary care needs here as well. Our goal is to treat the whole person, physically and mentally.”
Whether suffering from anxiety, depression, or if you have concerns about your mental health, we encourage you to call the Black River Healthcare Clinic at 715-284-3355 or request an appointment through the patient portal on the BRMH website. Specialists are also available for patients seeking care for substance or drug misuse, grief and loss, traumas, and more.
