BRMH Receives Donation from Northbranch-Humbird Rod and Gun Club

The Northbranch-Humbird Rod and Gun Club have a long history of giving to organizations in need. For several years, Black River Memorial Hospital Hospice (BRMH) has been a recipient of their generosity. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the raffle of a gun donated by Ray Walker were given in memory of his wife, Lorikay Walker. Lorikay was deeply involved with the gun club and received care from BRMH’s Hospice program. BRMH hospice staff member Kathy Harasimowicz stated, “We are so grateful for this donation that will be placed into Kathy’s Fund. The money will assist patients and families in the BRMH Hospice program with last wishes or unmet needs.”

Representing the gun club are (front row l-r), Vice President-Dennis Hardwick, Treasurer-Ed Schufletowski, President-Tony Tondola, and daughter of Ray and Lorikay-Lacey Walker. Representing BRMH Hospice staff (back row) is Tricia Tempski, Sue Lindberg, and Jennifer Woodworth. Gun donor Ray Walker, handed the check in the amount of $1,250 to BRMH hospice staff member, Kathy Harasimowicz. Kelly Kuecker, Amanda Stenberg, and Bethany Messelt finish out the BRMH hospice team.
