BRMH Updates Visitor Restrictions

In response to rising cases across the region, BRMH has updated its visitor policy to allow one designated, asymptomatic visitor per patient during the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This change has been made to keep our patients, staff, and the community safe.

“Protecting the safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority,” stated Melissa Bergerson, BRMH Chief Nursing Officer. “Although this may be difficult for some families, allowing one designated visitor will help reduce any possible exposure while also acknowledging that having a support person present can positively impact the outcome of one’s health when they are in the hospital.”

Other safety measures include the use of face masks for anyone in the facility, social distancing, strict screening processes at all entrances, diligent sanitizing of all touched surfaces, and testing of surgical patients before their procedures.

Visitors must be at least 18 years old and are required to wear a face mask at all times.

The BRMH finance office on 8th Street as well as the B-Home Services and Supplies retail store remains open to the public as long as they are not experiencing any symptoms. All will be screened upon arrival and masking is required.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please contact your primary care provider or call the BRMH COVID-19 screening line at 715-284-3906. You can also visit for more information.
