Visitor Restriction at BRMH

04/17/2020

With the onset of COVID-19, Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH) has had to make many difficult decisions to protect the general public, patients, and staff. One of these is a policy restricting all visitors at this time. Unfortunately, this restriction includes emergency visits but allows exceptions to be made only in patients who are giving birth and end-of-life situations. It is also important to note that a child under the age of 18 can be accompanied by one parent while that child is receiving care. BRMH understands the magnitude of this restriction and apologizes for the inconvenience but hopes the public understands the necessity. The no visitor policy is evaluated regularly but will likely not be lifted while we continue to be under Governor Evers’ “Safer at Home” restrictions. For more information on this and other COVID-19 information, please visit brmh.net or call 715-284-5361.
